You can help cooking, visit  a Hindu temple dressed in traditional Balinese clothes, make a walk through the rice paddies, visit a harbour with authentic fishing boats, watch an exciting Buffalo race, make a boattrip to deserted beaches in Bali Barat national park and visit the nightmarket in Negara. You will stay in a comfortable house, where you will have your own room and bathroom.

Bali is a Paradise destination thank to its fascinating history, art, culture and culinary wonders, but these highlights are all too often lost among the hastle and bustle of tourist strongholds (think Kuta and Denpasar). Secluded west Bali offers a different story: the stunning black-sand coastline - surrounded by acres of tropical jungle and studded with paddy fields - invites visitors to experience the Island's spirit and charm away from the crowds.

West Bali is not only much quieter than the rest of Bali, it is also much greener. Everywhere you go you will see lots of nature; rice paddies, tropical jungle, nice decorated gardens and deserted beaches. A unique place is the Bali Barat national park, where you can make short trekkings, visit white sandy beaches, make boattrips through the turquoise waters and go search for the white Bali starling bird.
